Set a calendar event, and assign the tone as the same as your ring tone. Test it, to make sure it behaves the same (ie: rings multiple times, until you appear to answer it.)

If your aim is to cause your cellphone to appear to ring, when nobody is phoning you, this will work - presuming you have a phone that supports this.

Another option - and this just came to me - is you could have your computer at home scheduled to attempt a fax to your cell phone. Your phone can't receive a fax, but the phone should ring when your computer dials out.

I am not sure if you mean to have it ring without anyone calling your phone - or if you want it to ring longer when someone calls, so you have more time to answer....

This is what I did to make it ring longer when someone calls. I have a Cingular (now AT&T) cellphone, and I called the Customer Service # and they reset the phone to ring longer for me.
