Whenever I eat healthy (salad instead of sandwich or noodles for dinner) I always get a stomach ache that can last for a few hours and then have me end up in the bathroom for some time. Even healthy snacking hurts my stomach (having an apple instead of pretzels or a candy bar). Is there anything I can do to find balance?

It's because your system is so used to processed foods and the raw foods are "shocking" it. You're probably not used to all the natural fiber, cause it is the fiber that keeps things moving along smoothly, so to speak. It's completely your choice to make, but if you gradually keep adding small portions of "healthy" foods like salads (and what not) to your diet, your symptoms should eventually fade.

When I eat Salad I have the same issues and I feel horrible. I have stomach ach's and I often have to go to the bathroom. I always swear to never eat salad again but yet I still eat it. I am now offically never eating salad again it makes me too sick and there is other good healthy options that won't make me sick.

Well, healthy for one person is not necessarily healthy for another. Some people cannot tolerate raw foods (as in your salads and apple). You might want to try warming and cooking things before you eat them.

it's called fiber. your body is responding to it.

your body will get used to it. you must have fiber to maintain regularity.

deal with it. patience and continuing this good habit will pay off and the pain will subside. you just have to get used to it.

eat right. stay healthy.

your stomach isn't used to healthy foods, suck it up and eat it, it'll pay off.
