If the policy is more than two years old, it is incontestable. The company must pay the death claim no matter the circumstances, unless there is an exclusion in the policy, which is rare for these activities. Normally, participation in a hazardous sport is a factor in the policy rating.

If the policy is less than two years old, the company would have to prove fraud; that you intended on participating in the specific activity at the time you signed the application.

Maybe.

Check with your insurer. Your insurance may be void if you die when performing a hazardous act. If you plan to engage in "risky" acts as a hobby or regularily, you may end up being classed as "Uninsurable."

However, if you are going to do it once and only once for the purpose of finding what is so special about it, you may be able to get away with it.

You will have to read the policy to find out - or ask the agent. But if you ask the agent, get the answer in writing!

Your policy may state such restrictions in the fine print. There is no rule or law about such things. Check your policy thoroughly or call your agent first!

There's a good chance they will pay since this is not a daily activity and only a one time thrill.
