The only glory I experience is of the cheesecake sitting in my fridge.

God hasn't shown himself to me anymore than Zeus has, so as far as I'm concerned, he is nonexistant.

Myth doesnt mean its a fake, depends on what definition you use:

NOUN:

A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the worldview of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society: the myth of Eros and Psyche; a creation myth.

Such stories considered as a group: the realm of myth.

A popular belief or story that has become associated with a person, institution, or occurrence, especially one considered to illustrate a cultural ideal: a star whose fame turned her into a myth; the pioneer myth of suburbia.

A fiction or half-truth, especially one that forms part of an ideology.

A fictitious story, person, or thing: "German artillery superiority on the Western Front was a myth" (Leon Wolff).

well, while i don't believe i've tread on Zeus on a personal level nor have i understood what it means to be in the presence of his glory...but i beseech him : bring it on.

Believe it or not, I mean this in the most serious way. I actually want to know:
what's so glorious about him? he's an old dude with a tempermental problem, an adulterer in the most disgusting sense of the world, and a rapist. if that's glory, then there are a lot of glorious people out there who should be in jail.

Dude, I am actually a follower of the Greek Pantheon. The fact you misspelled his Majesty, Lord of Olympus' name wrong is offensive.

And yes, the glory of invoking any of the Olympians is orgasmic, though I've never asked Zeus for direct assistance.

'Course, my views are a lot different from the Greeks, but we have a similarity in divine perspective, only mine is far more "Pro-human"

You are ridiculous. If you read Genesis 22, you will clearly see that Isaac is a werewolf and needed to be vanquished. This is why Abraham is exempt from ethical scrutiny.

I'm offended when people are so disrespectful that they refer to HIM with vowels in HIS name. Z--S is for the people!

And I'm offended that you would suggest Zeus is the correct deity (by the way, you misspelled the name of your Holy One) while Quetzalcoatl is OBVIOUSLY the one and only GOD.

*sigh* Looks like some people haven't properly calibrated their sarcasm detectors tonight...
