It's obvious the girl is mentally sick. It's no laughing matter. I can't beleive that the hair salon couldn't wait for her to get out the door before they were already scheming a way to make money off of her. Thats real concern if you ask me. Supose she had left there and committed suicide? Would they be trying to auction off the weapon or the pills she overdosed on. I have struggled with depression for years and it's really not funny.Where is the compassion and concern for people anymore? It's all about making a buck, no matter who it hurts or how it;s done. She has kids that someday will see this stuff about their Mom and it's going to affect them. Lets forget about the monetary part and concentrate on helping this girl and her family. She has a right to be depressed just like anyone else and she has feelings like anyone else. Give her a break. Take her serious and support her and see how that works. Sorry, but all of this hair stuff makes me sick, It's all about money at any cost!

We like to build people up to hero status so we can kick the ladder right out from under them when they are on top.
Sick but true. Maybe we have little tolerance for the rich, thinking that they have what we want and feel little remorse for they have so much.
That is part of why we have a long way to go still before we get it right. What disturbs me is that I feel only great tragedy among the masses will be our wake up call.......again.

I don't know about the money part. I'm sure there is always someone looking for a way to profit over other people's misfortunes and shortcomings. The reason everyone is making a joke is because everyones perception of her has changed 180 degrees. Her behavior lately in her personal life and on interviews screams of Southern American redneck, which is easy for people to make fun of. Nobody really knew what kind of person she was in private until all this stuff came out about her and K. Fed, the interviews, and shaving her head, which very well may be a cry for help. Nobody knows how being a celebrity can alter your sense of reality and make you into a manic depressive trying to live up to other people's expectations when the Paparazzi hounds are all over you 24/7. Personally, I wouldn't want it.
I think that when she was performing she had a scripted life, playing the part of the pop diva who was super attractive, semi-talented, and a role model for many young girls and boys but nobody really knew, (including the tabloids), that she was such a vulnerable and unbalanced person.
She needs some help and support. Let's just hope she gets it.

Britany is going thru all this because these paparazzi people need to leave her the hell alone!! Let her be its like they left Jennifer Lopez and started attacking poor Britany this all started when she had her first baby the girl is going crazy I bet she is being stalked and well the partying thats strictly her life she just divorced and well was dedicated to her family while her man was doing him and now that shes single and not pregnant let the girl be so what she wants to party but you dont see her out there with the kids and the kids look good and healthy lucky this girl has not killed herself hopefully by her getting in rehab will slow her down but the problem is not her its these stupid papparazi that need to leave her alone shes a human being like everyone else just let her be!!!

I am so happy that you feel compassion for her. That is how I feel to and it bothers me the way the media keeps showing her over and over on the television and making jokes about her shaving her head. I would love to have as much money as she does but I am so glad the media doesn't follow me day and night to report any failings I have. The girl needs help from her family and friends and doctor. Everyone else needs to leave her alone to heal.

I am in support for depressed and mentally challenged people. However at some point, regarding stars I think that Copterfix has a point. Why worry over them. Lets' worry more about what is going on in this world and a way to fix it.

Because Idiots like her dont deserve dignity. She got herself into the mess and derserves all of it. She has a worthless existence and has done nothing to improve the world around us but make shitty music. Which I guess is a reason why she is so depressed. People need to stop worrying about idiots like her and start looking to people with a head on there shoulders.

Sad, yes, but you sow what you reap, and she's no different!
She's made her choices and now look at her life! Her parents were also greedy enough to push her into this limelight way back in the Mickey Mouse Club days, and they've never stopped!
That's no reason to make fun of her, I agree, but people are cruel, (and greedy!). That's just what's out there. Fact of life!

people like to see other people fall, so that their meaningless lives seems just fine in comparison. they are called haters, their are a lot of haters in the media, if they hated on jesus . Brit is from new orleans a place where life is real not surreal. when she came to hollywood , she got caught up with the image, if brit wanted to shave its her own bussiness, she proved herself a long time ago. OF course she is mentally sick. Look as all the drugs she has done. I think its hilarious she is finally falling out of the sky and back to the real world. Celebs dont need sympathy for their own demise. I find it quite amusing. Remember she had great things going for her and she blew it all on her own. She deserved it. Why not focus your concerns on more important people in the world. Such as when is the last time you thanked a soldier? He or she sacrafises great things for you to worry about petty crap from celebs. Worry about something more meaningful then some has been.
