it all depends on the genes.

If there is a gene in one family or the other for green eyes, there's a good chance the babes could have green eyes. It all depends on what's in the genes.

Both sides have to have the recessive gene for there to even be a possibility. If neither of you have blue eyes and neither parents do then it's highly unlikely, otherwise there is a 25% chance if you both have the recessive gene.

My sister is black and has green eyes. Both of our parents are black and have brown eyes. My sister's husband is hispanic and has brown eyes. One of my nephews has green eyes.

My cousin Daniel is biracial. My uncle is black and has brown eyes, my aunt is white and has brown eyes. Daniel has the brightest green eyes I've ever seen.

Both of my grandmothers, who are black, have blue eyes. This probably contributes to all of the random green eyed grandchildren. It's all about genetics. You just never know.

My dad's & mom's eyes are brown and I came out with blue eyes, so I guess it's possible.

I'm assuming you have the green eyes then? Well if your husband is African American than probably not. If he's a hispanic, asian, or middle easterner then maybe. The odds are like 25/40% really. Sorry.
