curly hair issues?

i have like super curly hair. like its curly and frizzy and everyday i put it up in a pony tail becuz if i leave it down it gets to frizzy and gross. and i look like a boy. i want to leave it down what are some good hairstyles

i have hair just like that!!!

sometimes i part it at the side and leave it down then finger comb it half way back with a really pretty med size jaw clip.

i recommend aussie.
pretty much all the mousses work well for my curly hair and the sprunch spray works great cause its holds your hair in place it wont make it all crispy and has never weighed my hair down.
it also doesn't leave a whole bunch of white flakes in your hair like some other expensive stylers do.

also i blow dry my hair(with a diffuser)........i put the dryer directly on top of my head and point it down to help control the frizz.~~~i found that to work miracles.

I know this is gonna sound weird but first brush your hair in the shower it keeps it from frizzing when you get out let it dry naturally with a little gel to set it. If you take an inch or two of your hair I guess where people have bangs part it either in the middle or off to a side and pull it into a tight pony tail tucked under your loose hair where nobody will see it. It'll keep your hair out of your face and make it look less poodle like. also you can try taking half of the top hair and put it in a bun and let the rest hang loose- they only see the hair you leave down so it doesn't look really thick.

Curly hair is a challenge for many people. One great style I saw while I was a hairdresser was left curly, and about 16" to 18" long, from the crown to the ends. The hairdresser cut the hair in smoothly elevated layers. That made the girl's hair fall into beautiful, tiny waves. It eliminated the frizzy look she had before vanish.
Work with a hairdresser who has lots of experience with curly hair, or has curly hair themselves. They will have the same issues you do.

My hair is like that. If you want to wear it curly try Vavoom hair forming gel(from a salon) That is what I use, but I have to use a lot of it to control my curls and frizz. But it works for me and I can wear my hair down when I use it. Sometimes I do a slight side part and I put the gel all over my hair and scrunch it a little and dry just a little with a diffuser and then let it air dry the rest.

Wear it all down but have a scarf tied around your head, this way it'll hold down the volume and frizziness of your hair.

well if you want it to stay curly then use mouse with extra frizz control or if you want it straight then shower at night and put the same mouse in your hair and then straighten it in the morning before you leave the house

i have the exact same problem. i basically straighten my hair everyday. either that or i take a shower and put gel all over in my hair and scrunch it and then finish it off with hairspray. that way you can keep you curls but you don't get as much frizz and volume. it may take you awhile to find out how much gel to use etc. but you should get it after awhile!
