There is this guy i met at a dance and he is so cute and he seems smart what can i do to get him to notice me?

please help me i dont know if he i out of my leauge or not but he is so cute and very nice and i would do anything to have him ask me out at this comming dance that we are having for this dance class all of us have to take and i really want him to like me with out totally changing who i am as a person. I dont know if he likes me or not he dose not give any clues. I dont think he talks to girls at all. I also seem to be the only girl in my whole school who dose not have a boyfriend and i dont want to go crying to them for help. So can you?
