Given the history of that church isn't following them like following Hitler?

Exactly! But try telling that to people who believe that Jesus is God or is equal to God. If the Bible plainly taught that Jesus and his Father were equal, why would it need to be voted on by clergymen at the Council of Nicea in 325 CE?

But it did not stop there. At the Council at Constantinople in 381 CE, other church leaders then voted to make the Father, Son, and holy spirit co-equal, co-eternal, and almighty. If the Bible had clearly taught a trinity, why would it need to be voted on by anybody?

People who believe in the trinity or the divinity of Jesus have no clue that they are following the teachings of men; not God's.

All actual Christians are followers of Christ (a million Peter 21; Mark 10:21). As you aptly suggested, early Christians who have been with Christ, under no circumstances seen him being equivalent to God (Philippians 2:6). related to the holy spirit, Jesus pronounced that his father, no longer he himself, might deliver the comforter or helper. examining this in context for sure shows that the comforter or helper (holy spirit) replaced into no longer the guy of Jesus, for this reason the third portion of the trinity (John 14:23-28). some argue that John a million:a million is an instantaneous connection with the trinity doctrine, yet observe that the verse makes no connection with the holy spirit. people who argue that verse 14 shows the fleshly manifestation of God, then that contradicts verse 18 which says no guy has ever seen God. No, God did no longer establishes his faith by potential of balloting. actual Christianity is a Theocracy.

Jesus was divine long before Constantine and his momma got hold of Christianity and twisted it into the parody of the religion the early church taught.
Yes, following that sort of "church" would sort of be like following Hitler...why not follow the true God, Jesus Christ, instead?

No,it wasn't a conference where people decided on who Jesus was and voted on whether He was divine or not.
A North African bishop had been preaching the heresy that Jesus was not God,and the Council was brought together to reaffirm the core beliefs.Out of over 300 bishops, only two refused to sign the Nicene Creed (an affirmation of beliefs).

the church has always believed in the Divinity of Christ, the problem was that it was not 'official' since the church was persecuted, the apostolic fathers (ignatius, justin martyr, polycarp, etc.) believed in the trinity hundreds of years before constantine.

To Serena, Jesus is NOT God as stated in the Bible.

The Bible doesn't question His divinity, it declares it.
The Catholic church has no "vote" on this issue.

another "non-binding resolution," I'd say.
