Yes, I like the Chronicles of Narnia but see nothing about it that is any more theistic than Harry Potter. Depends on your perspective I suppose.
I also like the Bible's aesthetic value, and being an atheist, I consider that fiction.

Of course. I've always loved fantasy. The Lord of the Rings; The Gold of the Gods and other interesting tales.
the human imagination can make nearly anything seem real,at least for a few moments. Then we come back to facts.

The Narnia series was great.
I've never been able to get through anything by Rushdie.

Yes, definitely.
Oh, and the Chronicles of Narnia have blatant allegories to the Bible.

Sure, if it's entertaining. Penn Jillette makes an interesting statement by only buying such books used and cheap, not sending money to the writer. I think that's a bit much, I would actually buy the book new if I wanted to read it. The person who's writing it put their effort into it, and I know they would want to get their money for that.

Chronicles of Narnia yes, though that's very VERY loosely based on Christianity.

I read Stephen King all the time, and Anne Rice. I don't read a whole bunch of fiction. I work on computers so I have to read to stay current. I also read all different science books.

The only fiction that relates to God that I have read is the bible!
The most poorly written and worst plot ever!

Well, if Narnia's in, then so's LOTR, so yes, I do.
And the tighter narratives in the Bible were kind of nice to read the first time (Ruth, Esther, etc.)
