Pump your milk and slowly reduce the frequency. When my sister stopped breastfeeding she was down to 2 - 3 feedings a day and it didn't hurt or engorge her any, but she went from every meal to supplementing until it was only her first and last feeding was breast.

I know this may sound silly but I was told by my OBGYN to use Cabbage leaves. It really worked, I took the outter leaves from a head of cabbage and tucked them inside my bra, make sure they are covering your nipples. The cabbage leaves begin to wilt after a while so you need to change out the leaves as soon as they begin wilting. Something about the leaves helps you not get engorged and its suppose to be very good for drying up the milk slowly. Give it a try, it cant hurt to try it even if it is silly sounding. It worked great for me. Best of luck!

With my first child I wrapped the widest ace bandage around my upper body kinda tight(not too tight, dont wanna cut off blood flow) It was weird and kinda uncomfortable but it worked and kept me from getting engorged and after about a week my milk was all dried up. Your boobs will look kinda flat(while your wearing the bandage) but it worked for me. my doctor told me to do this. Hope this helps!

I tried to cut out a feeding or two day by day until I was only feeding once a day and then I just totally stopped. after about 2 weeks I didn't feel myself fill up at all and then after about 4 weeks, I didn't have to wear breast pads anymore cause I wasn't leaking at all.
