Windows defender hanging during cleaning stage?

Question

So Windows defender goes though and finds a few issues, and I select quarantine and remove for a few of each. However, it seems to just be hanging and otherwise taking far too long at "Taking actions..."

Take Window Defender off your computer, it wont defender you from anything, just takes up space on the hard drive.
