Wake it up! No really! I'm not kidding! Take it from the position that made it fall asleep and take all weight off of it and let it slowly let the blood flow back to where it's supposed to be. It may tickle so bad that it hurts or you may feel pins and needles. If it doesn't wake up no matter what then you need to call the doctor. You may have some spinal problem.

It all depends on what works for you. Some say to shake it, some say walking will wake it up, and others say just let it wake up on its own. Maybe the one shoe is the culprit. Look at all possibilities and discern the right solution.

Move the foot that falls asleep quite often.

I shake mine to get the blood circulating in it. not saying that its not but when your foot or hand falls asleep that means you are putting more pressure on the one that's asleep and the blood is circulating slower than the other.

Rub it and make the circulation work as that is a sign of the blood has stoped flowing

Like, either waste a cup of coffee on it or keep your voice down and, like, let it wake up on its own. If those don't work, go take a walk.

Wake it up GENTLY. Like anyone, a foot may be cranky when it first wakes up.
