study hard. get 3.7GPA or more, then go to airforce academy and take pilot course. if not chance of becoming pilot is slim. if you goto normal college and take USAFROTC, chance of becoming pilot will go really low.

if you have health problem or bad eye sight forget about it

look into Civil Air Patrol, its program who likes plane and run by airforce, and u get to fly, and it will look good if you were in it when you go to the academy

Step 1) Watch Top Gun
Step 2) Realize that Naval Aviators are way cooler than anyone in the chair force
Step 3) Repost with "I am a high school student and i want to be a Navy fighter pilot?"

join the academy, get ur private pilot license now, and if possible ur instrument rating. pilots seats are very popularbecause this is one of the few if only combat occupation which woman can join. being a pilot in the air force is like getting submairne duty or special forces, navy seal etc. if u have ur pilot license and instrument before going ur chances of being selected sky rocket, u have to be an officer so ur choices are either academy(seriously recommended), rotc, or enlisting "then" going to ocs. I highly recomend getting ur license if u plan on rotc(college course upon graduation u can be an officer), if u get accepted to an academy then no need to fear u should almost definently get what u want. email me if u want more info.

i might say army pilots are slightly greater advantageous if in hassle-free terms for the further training needed for service operations. The Airforce at present has the main suitable genuine combatants interior the F-15 and F-22. while you're in seek of action then I do recommend the army. conveniently, each pilot will flow to be sure and if there are tensions a bigger proportion will flow to the area they're mandatory maximum. nevertheless, there is not any assure you will see wrestle flying the two way. additionally, genuine airplane-on-airplane action for combatants has been scarce in view that Vietnam, nevertheless there became some in the time of the two Iraq conflicts. To get combatants you bigger have a spotless checklist, a 4-twelve months degree and actually provoke somebody in training!

First you need to go to a recruiter. He will have all the info you need. The most important thing is to get great grades in school and go to college. You need college to be an officer and you need to be an officer to fly an Air Force jet. Also, you need 20/20 vision.....no exceptions to that one. Good luck to you and if you don't make that (20/20 vision) you can always fly helicopters. But for that you will need to be a warrant officer (still requires college). Good luck to what ever you do.
