I think it's quite stunning, unique but not completely different. I would imagine it's best if you have a well-defined waist/hourglass sort of shape. I don't, so those sheaths & mermaids would make me look silly, but several of my friends or cousins would look spectacular in that style gown. Nice choice!

It is a very pretty dress, and you are right in that people who make nasty comments about it are thinking of themself wearing it, we can't imagine you in it, but you can, so you know that it is gonna look good on you.

i think it's nice. the thing that matters most is that you like it. however, make sure that it looks right for your body type. so many girls that get married have that one certain type of dress that they want and it end up looking terrible on them because their body just isn't built for that dress.
