We took one of our dogs to the vet earlier and all was fine, except his neuro system, because he was shaking out of control. Our second dog (much bigger than the first) is slightly shaking (not bad compared to the first one).
Does anyone know what it could be?? All of the vital signs are fine, and his organs are fine, his bloodcount is normal... He is just shaking...

Not poison, we have taken one of them to the vets...
Dog #1-Pupils won't dilate, and when the vet called a few minutes ago his blood pressure had risen..
Dog #2- Having smaller twitches, walks weird and is having trouble down the stairs...
It is not cold here as it was in the 60's all day, and not some form of poison (the vet thinks) because the blood results showed him as fine...

This does sound like a seizure. And quite a severe one if it lasted 20 minutes. It could be a one-off, and you could risk waiting to see if it happens again, but if this was my dog, I'd have him to my vet, for a full check to see if there's something obvious going on. Seizures are normally more upsetting for the owner, than for the dog and the fact he looked scared was just because he wasn't in control of his faculties, and that would worry anybody! Fitting isn't necessarily epilepsy ** - and with the older dog, it can be caused by a number of things. But he does need checking out. You might check with his breeder, to see whether there is any history of epilepsy in his background - but do it in a non-accuratory way. You'll get more information, which could be helpful for your vet. if you don't go in hard with this news! ** and this could indeed be the result of a bite, or sting but ..... ?

Some sort of poison is a guess. if your vet saw the shaking in both dogs and sent them home without a solution, get a new vet right away as they could die. I'm not trying to scare you but this could be very serious!

Is it a really little dog? My dog is only 5 lbs and shakes sometimes when cold or when nervous. Is your dog feeling threatened? Overwhelmed? Not comfortable? Cold?
Those cute little sweaters really aren't just for show. They really do help the little dog retain heat. And this time of year, it's important to keep them toasty.

>>>Sounds like some kind of poison if it is affecting both of them. Did the vet check for anything? Does anything seem amiss around your house/yard?
I hope they are ok....Please let us know!!!

Have him checked over. He could be just scared of something. Especially if he is a Labrador. But do have him checked over.
