In the movie Thank You For Smoking, it is mentioned that sucking on a piece of charcoal(It might have been activated charcoal, though I'm not sure and not sure of the difference between them) will fool a breathalyzer test.
Is this true, and if so why does it do it? Please cite your sources/how you know your answer. Thank you.

seen that movie and no, it's a crock of sh*t invented by hollywood writers trying to see how many morons they can get to suck on charcoal

Nice try haha but it aint happenin, and evn if it was i'd rather drive home drunk as hell...but since im on probation, i'd try it if i had no other option
