My "committee" doesn't typically get too rowdy unless I'm very excited or in danger. Otherwise I can usually keep them quiet or at least quiet enough to ignore.

You have no control over mental "voices" in your mind! You have to ignore them, take your meds, and face what you may fear about them. In my experience they were loud at first but when "they" found out "they" had no influence over me "they" gradually got weaker and weaker to disappear 10 years ago. The meds helped. I have had people tell me I am a different person when on meds. That is not surprising as "neuroleptic" means, "Mind seizing".

They all take turns at hosting a tv show. Only the host (or hostess) can talk loudly. The others must keep their voices down or it messes up the signal and the broadcast won't go out.

I watch TV and get interested in the program and that helps me forget that I heard voices in my head. You need to do something that you like to do to get distracted and then you won't hear voices in your head.

You probably have bipolar or schizophrenia or some other serious mental illness. Only pills will help for this.

Headphones.
That'll drown 'em out!
