First of all Jr. is one of the best drivers there is he has just had a couple of rough years with the incidents he has been in. I like kevin harvick also but I hope to see a new guy get it this year like Kahne or Hamlin.

You have to look at several good drivers out there that have made good moves and also saw the light or just plain refreshed their batteries.

Harvick is in his own car and not under the Earnhardt colors and has a feel it is his now. He came on strong last year at the end and I think he isn't as much of a loose cannon.

Stewart is fresh and in a good mood (for now or maybe the rest of the season) and he is strong and has the same team for a long time and has chemistry. Would be surprised but wouldn't count the #20 Home Depot Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS out. Especially when there is a #8 Budweiser Chevy behind him....very tough to beat him.

Burton, yes Jeff Burton this team with Harvick is strong and he looked great last year. Cingular is now the new AT&T but its still Mr. Burton in the car and looking good.

Hamlin, Stewart running mate is young and hell might be the top dog and with Tony there to help him or visa versa it can be tough to beat him out.

There are a few more to consider and I know those Earnhardt fans think he is the greatest, but until he focuses strictly on racing he will always be up and down and out of it. When he teams up with SMOKE he is tough to stop as well.

I am putting my money on Harvick or Hamlin.

Be afraid of a Rousch car sneaking in at the end....Edwards or Kenseth will be there at the end.

Kevin Harvick is a good driver, I don't think he's going to get the cup this year. I am going to go with Dale Jr. or Kasey Khane. Both are great drivers and have were up in the top 10 last season.

Harvick definitely has a shot...more so than many drivers. But, we all know it's impossible to make a prediction...tires blow, crashes happen...who knows who could have a bad season. Just pulling for my own favorites, I'd like to see Kasey Kahne, Casey Mears, or Denny Hamlin take it (and let's face it, this SHOULD be the best year Mears has ever had). Logically speaking (even though I don't like him), Tony Stewart is always a competitor. And really, I don't care yet, I'm just looking forward to a great season:)

Harvick will be there at the end of the season for sure, RCR's resurgence has pushed him into the group of the best drivers.
It's hard to predict who will win the Cup, since even the best drivers get their share of bad luck(Jr. and Gordon in '05, Stewart in '06)
But I will go with Stewart, bad luck ruined his day at Daytona, but he's always determined, and it's just really hard not to pick a driver like him.

I think Harvick has a HUGE chance of getting it!
He's an excellent driver, alot of people don't like Kevin but he's come aloooong way. Right now I think Tony is the Best driver, although he sometimes looses races due to himself getting so upset (or whatever). Tony seems to be able to get the most out of whatever car he is driving. Kevin is not quite as good as Tony-yet but I feel he will be soon, maybe even better!
So I feel it will be between the two of them, but I wish it would be Junior...

Whoever wins the cup this year will have some luck on their side. Yes, Harvy has a good chance if Childress can keep up with the changes. Here are my picks.
Johnson
Harvick
J Gordon
Little Busch
And these are in no special order. I just think that these guys will have their stuuf togeather this year. And listen here,,all drivers in nascar have talent or they wouldn't be there. Little E has loads of talent. The team just never gets it all togeather for him. DOn't knock any of these guys, they are the best of the best,ALL OF THEM.

What is it with this "no talent" stuff! If Dale Jr. wasn't talented then he wouldn't be driving in NASCAR and winning races. The one who isn't talented is you because u probably wish u were driving a race car like he is.

I'd say that Kevin Harvick is gonna win it all.

My belief, judging on what took place last season, I feel that it will go to a Joe Gibbs car. I think that if Denny Hamlin can improve from his rookie season, he can win the cup. If he can not improve I feel Tony Stewart will be right in the thick of the chase.
