EEK horrible situation to be in. but heres the honest truth. if you have been hanging out with your boyfriend with your friend there too, and she doesnt have a guy to draw her attention, well that guy will be YOURS. i hate to say it, but ive been that best friend once =[. but ive also been in your situation MANY times.TALK TO HER. if she has openly told you then thats a good sign. but if you are just noticing her flirting with him, ask her about it. she will most likely deny it, but a real friend would tell you the 100% truth. dont ask her without good evidence though, this could lead to trust issues and may even give her some ideas about why he is worthy of liking. just keep an eye on her for a while and then if the situation comes up, take her aside (ALONE) and ask her CALMLY and CONCERNED. just be careful not to fume your anger out on her. it will make her more defensive in the end.

GOOD LUCK! I know its a tough situation. but best friends DONT do that to each other

and if she actually does like him, as long as nothing happens while you and your boyfriend are together, it should be fine. but once you break up, after about 4months, hes really not your property anymore. let go. boyfriends dont ALWAYS last forever. and a friendship is NEVER EVER worth losing over a guy that wont be there in the end.

Well, I don't think that your friend should be telling you something like that. But, guys come and go. My bestfriend is now LIVING WITH a guy I used to date. But I didn't get upset. I just figured that the two of them were meant to be. Just be careful having her around your boyfriend. There are two things that a girlfriend will steal: your shoes, and your man.

Does she know he's your boyfriend? How did you find out? If she doesn't know, then you have to set her straight. And if she did know, and she told you to your face that she likes him, then you should explain to her how you feel about the situation, and how your boyfriend feels. If he doesn't like her, then she has no right to make you give him up, just because of your friendship, as important as it may be. Acting this way just makes her a bad friend. If you heard about the situation from someone else, let her know that you know, and make sure she understands why you can't break up with him over a crush. Maybe she'll move on.

Likes? As in likes him enough to date him? Or likes him as a friend? Find out what she means.Next thing I would do is ask your boyfriend how he feels about her.If he isn't interested, you have nothing to worry about.Don't sweat the small stuff.

Break up your friendship and stay with your man. The friend will eventually try to seduce your guy and they will both cheat on you. Might as well prevent it sooner so you won't get a breakdown.

well, that depends. it's not uncommon for a friend to like their friend's boyfriend or girlfriend. however, if she starts acting on those feelings and trying to break you two apart, get rid of her.

she isnt any type of friend if she likes your boyfriend! i woudnt consider her to be a firend because friends dont backstab eachother, nor do they "like" eachothers boyfriends. real friends find there own. you should talk to her about it and if she still "likes" your boyfriend after you tell her about what a real friend should be acting like then you need to find a new friend who you wont have to watch your boyfriend around!

Ignore it but if she flirts with him or something tell her that it makes you uncomfertable that she is doing that. Tell her that you dont want to lose your friendship over a guy but she needs to stop flirting w/ him cuz he is taking
