O.K. There is this guy who is really hot but my best friend really likes him and "says he likes her to" but I think she is lying! Should I trust her even though he flirted with me and didn't even pay attention to her at a game. Also he is 16 and I'm 14 and he asked me out. What should I say?

Girls can like more tha none girl at a time, that's what your missing. Yeah he might like your friend, but he might like you, too. If he asked you out, that would be a pretty good indication ;). And if you like him, and he likes you, what am I missing? :)

P.S. No offence in any way, but, from what I've seen (And I'ma 15 year old boy, so I know), alot of times when there is a big age difference it's cause the guy jsut wants in the girl's pants. Not saying anythign about him, but jsut be careful, okay?

is your friendship and reputation worth going out with this boy. Lay low and see if he really is just playing both of you. Boys that are 16 usually are flirting with all girls to see which one may give them sexual favors. he may be flirting with her behind your back. Its a tough age you are going thru. I would have more fun shopping with friends, going to movies, parties school football games, stuff like that, then boys. they will mess with your head. wait a couple of years before you give them the serious time of day. You will know how to read them and their actions better. I know that it would or will be hard, but you really would be better off in your future.

I was gonna say some stuff, but they mostly beat me to it. Kinda listen to the guy who said about the big age difference thing, he is right though it isnt true with all that and plus its not a huge age diff, i'm sixteen and i just dated a 14 yr old. but to counteract that my ex -best friend is 17 and he dated her and got into her pants on the second date w/ her. so do be aware about that stuff.

ask him bout your friend.......you might lose your friend over this and your gonna break up with this guy with time so it seems better if first you tell your friend and if she's ok with it then go out but if she don't then do what you think is right......how many guys is there that you go out with? how many best friends will you get in your life time? which is more important?
