I have accumulated a list of 127 grievances and charges of misconduct against the principal, vice principal, most of my teachers, cheerleading coach and several administrative assistants. I am at my breaking point and just can't go on at a school that belittles me like this. I'd like to sue the school, if not the school system. The school board has ignored my emails, so I am ready to send them to the local tv stations. Sadly, my daddy does not support this and says I am being unreasonable and would be better off channeling my energy into more productive use. I say booo to daddy and I am doing the right thing. I may be spoiled, but I have my rights.

First of all, you don't give enough details to let us figure if you are for real or not. You sound like you are too young to be making these kinds of decisions, especially since you are still calling him "daddy". I stopped that when I was around 8. Do you have any other family, aunt, uncle, grandparent who would come and sit down with you and your dad and discuss the situation? They might be able to act as a mediator for the two of you. Also, what were you paddled for? What were you accused of?
I think you need to get off the computer and go talk to your father.

I would think that you would need a lawyer to sue. However for a lawsuit to be successful you need to have a case built on facts that support your case. You also need to come into the case with clean hands, your school record will be hard to dispute. However, in my opinion , your own questions and the content of your questions would be used as evidence to support the school's position. If you want to expose this situation to the media be sure to include your questions and answers from this site just so you give full disclosure. I think your dad is probably disappointed in your behaviour based on your statement that he does not support you and says you are being unreasonable.I am sorry that your mother is deceased and that has to be very difficult for you to deal with at your age. Please take a few minutes to think about what advice your mom would have given you if she were here. Do you think she would be proud of your behaviour at school? I am not trying to be rude but giving you real food for thought. The only one you are really hurting is yourself.

Well without being more specific, like what kind of things have they done what are the "grievances", I can't really answer your question. Where is your mom in the picture? 127 sounds like a lot to me?!? Maybe you are going overboard.

how old are you? you may consider your father's idea that you are just over reating on what is happening. maybe you should state the reason for you suing your school, because when i did a petition in our school i was supported by my mother because it was reasonable for a petition but not so reasonable enough to be put in court, that is why even though they did not do anything for my petition, it was okay, they have a point. suing is too much.

If you are under 18, you are not old enough to be party to a lawsuit. The TV station may listen to you though.

You can't sue anyone unless you are 18 or over. Where is your Mother?

You can't sue anyone if you are a minor, you have to have an adult sue on your behalf...and unless you have grounds for a lawsuit (that you haven't given evidence here to) then you can't.

wow. I really believe you. Grow up, change schools if you need to and unless you change your attitude these things will follow you through life. Stop blaming everyone else and look inside you for the answer

Wow - your story has changed from the first time you whined about it. Maybe if you were credible someone would listen?
Its odd the whole school staff(even the secretaries???) has mounted such a campaign against one student and yet your parents just don't see it - now why could that be?
Go ahead call the tv stations - or better yet threaten to sue them too!

You sound like a spoiled brat. When EVERYONE older/wiser than you (including your Father - show a little respect) says that you're wrong...it means you're wrong. I would like to hear what your complaints are (as any intelligent person would) before passing judgement on their validity, however, I value the IQ points I have left. You are a spoiled, self-centered little girl, and you need to grow up. It sounds like you didn't get enough whacks with the paddle to me...
