This is most likely a bacterial infection. You need to see a physician ASAP. There are a few bacterial infections that untreated can cause kidney damage and heart valve damage not worth taking the risks. Not matter what you should not run a temperature for 4-5 days no matter what. Increase your fluid intake, OTC for symptom control and get into your family physician ASAP. They will probably do blood work a throat swab and let you know the results that day. Good luck.

Sounds like strep throat. The fever aspect could be dangerous. If you can find some methiolade, paint your throat. Don't swallow that stuff, it's poisonous! Just kill all those nasty germs. Sorry it's been hurting so!

That definitely sounds like strep throat. If left unintended it could go into something like tonsillitis or you could be hospitalized. I would advise you to see a doctor as soon as you are able to.

You probably have some serious virus, if it does not improve after a couple of days make sure to see your doctor, you may need some antibiotic to help your system deal with it.
