First of all sit down with him and tell him it is wrong and unacceptable.
Secondly you and your family and/or the people around you have to stop swearing, this is probably how he picked it up, you can use alternative words like Shittalking mushrooms or Fudgesicles or Darn, or something like that.
Last of all when you or a family member is around him and he swears, tell him it's wrong to swear and possibly discipline him by giving him a timeout or some other small punishment.
I hope this helps you out.

My three year old chose to use a few swear words. If you respond to the swearing they will only keep on saying them because they are getting a reaction out of you. The key thing is to ignore it. It might take some time . Remember it is better for it to last days then months . They key thing is try and not laugh or it will only encourage him more.

Make him bite in to a bar of dial soap every time you catch him swearing. That'll break that habit really quick!! Worse that will happen is he'll get sick to his stomach after while, but I guarantee- he'll remember the experience next time he goes to sware.
As a side note: Also remember, that young children mock what they see AND hear........

You will have to find a punishment that he responses to and make it clear that this lang. is not acceptable for your family. However, it will be hard if such words are used before him by family members.
