AJ
Limewire does NOT "cause" viruses
It will---however---make it Very Easy to get viruses though---if one is not extremely careful about what they download into their system by way OF limewire !! The program is a rabid collector of "stuff" and a lot of the "stuff" it collects can very easily be things that you don't REALLY want on your system---viruses and spyware being just two of a host of things that one can load into their system by way of this program with dang near no effort at all !!
My major problem with limewire though is in the fact that this program is EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE and in a lot of cases DEMANDS things of you ----access and maintainance and regular attention !! I prefer programs to be at MY call and ready to wait for MY decisions ---Limewire doesn't like doing things that way---- the major reason why it is no longer a part of my registery list !!!

Limewire can infact cause viruses. It shares files with the internet...making your computer vulnerable. Just make sure your security is up-to-date.

not limewire. limewire only uses up ALL of your RAM. and everything on there runs slow. its some of the files you download that has spyware. nothing is safe to download. only try the audio or the zip files or the .rar files.

Yes, yes, yes!!!!

Its an illegal share site. So if you figure that if someone shares their songs and they have a virus on their computer, it can be passed along to yours if you select that download.
