awesome
I am not the only one that feels it is so annoying. Even their gum, why do people do that?

With you pal. G R O S S
The VIEW is worse then the sound!
I taught my kids (adults with closed chewing mouths now) by slightly popping a slap on their mouth (yikes, so I believe in corporal punishment....it's how we got things done. Less gangs then also)
My MOTHER does it sometimes, I just say, EXCUSE ME? I have my OWN food to view.
That statement sometimes embarrasses others to get them to close their mouth.
AS GROSS as it is, the OTHER method is to stare at their mouth as they do it (or best yet, focus just away). Maybe add "ahhh, so that is how partially digested food looks!! Wanna see this side of it?"
I'm sorry if I misunderstood if you were talking of what you hear outside your head or inside.

I'm not a big fan either, if I'm eating somewhere with no noise at all except for the nasty sound of food being ground and mixed up i will turn on the radio or tv to drown it out.

you don't really have a problem. if you think others can hear the crunching of your food, your wrong. it just sounds loud becuz it is in your mouth close to your ears.

I'd say get your ears checked. When deafness is a problem, there's often an extreme sensitivity to certain noises.

omg it drives me crazy too.
cept' my sister uses another LOVELY addition, by using her tongue instead of her teeth to chew. so it's just like food swishing and smacking.
