As hard as I tried, I could find no scriptural reference which said "Thou shalt not believe in evolution."
The monkey argument reflects several levels of ignorance about evolution. The first mistake is that evolution does not teach that humans descended from monkeys; it states that both have a common ancestor.
The deeper error is that this objection is tantamount to asking, "If children descended from adults, why are there still adults?" New species evolve by splintering off from established ones, when populations of organisms become isolated from the main branch of their family and acquire sufficient differences to remain forever distinct. The parent species may survive indefinitely thereafter, or it may become extinct.

Do you understand evolution?
WE DO NOT COME FROM MONKEYS!!!
We share a common ancestor with them.
here is a quick though rough outline of evolution for you:
When species have offspring some of the dna in the offspring contain differences from the parents, these differences are called mutations. Imagine that a dog has children that are faster than other dogs, being faster will make this dog's offspring more likely to outrun predators and catch prey and therefore more likely to reproduce and pass on the "speed' trait. after millions of years these mutations accumulate and the offspring become so different from their ancestors that they become a new species.

Okay, first off, none of what you just said makes sense. Secondly, the theory of evolution doesn't say we "came from monkeys". Rather, it says that we have a common ancestor with APES, not the same thing as monkeys. Next, the Bible never said how God did the creating, it simply said that he did it. Did you ever consider that the process he used WAS evolution and he is STILL using it because he is STILL creating? And, lastly, I'm not an atheist, and many people who believe in evolution are not.

I'm not an atheist, but have you ever thought that evolution is how God created the world? Monkeys and flesh eating marsupial tree snails are not really related. We didn't come from monkeys, but we share a common ancestor.

OOOKKKKK then ....
first off, evolution does not say that we came from monkeys. it says that the modern Chimpanzee and the modern human came from a common ancestor.
did you ever stop to think that the chimp may have evolved form the human? not likely but possible.
you sit on your rooftop and eat carrots with Jesus huh? that is nice.
what are you doing with thoes cute fingers that you cannot be distracted form anyway?

(not an atheist).
But there are many different breeds of monkeys.
Some survived some prospered and of course some died never to be seen again.
Its quiet logical.
its called evolution.. in every animal being insect on the planet.

just because we are more complex than other animals does not mean that we were somehow the "goal" of evolution, it is a blind process which simply rewards adaptation.
There is no logical reason that say chimpanzees should go extinct just because a group of them in one part of africa slowly evolved into a distinct species.
PS I hope this question was just a joke by some 15 year old on the internet, if not then i fear for humanity.
Carrots, seriously? wtf?

nature is carefully balanced, kill off teh snails and musquitos, and what would the birds eat? kill off the birds and what would your dear cat spot eat?
you cant just simply get rid of anything in nature without causing a massive change in the behaviure of animals, even a christian must realise that...
oh will you look at that, that mechanism is part of evolution!
