I was told that my a bit overwirght and is unable to reach her "butthole" to clean it...so sometimes her stinky poo sticks a little and I have to wipe her but for her (the things we will do for our cats!)

Sometimes, it is not regular poo, but kind of slimey. Could this have anything to do with her anal glands...do they have to be squeezed? hmmm.

I understand that animals glands have to be squeezed when they dont do it themselves...like their poop isnt hard enough to push it out (her poop has been supersoft and gross that past few months). What does the stuff in the glands look like?

EWwwwwwwwww! Yeah, the vet had to do that to my cat. I can attest that it smells bad! I thought it was a only dog thing.

You may want to get a HazMat suit with gloves and helmet! LOL

I can so relate. I had a cat with the same problem. The substance that you sqeeze out of the anal glands is not really slimey. It is more like a semi thick brown watery liquid. The odor is awful and be careful...sometimes it just squirts out. Cover the area with a papertowel or toilet paper when you squeeze.
