It's just a dance, if he likes you only as a friend you should accept that. There are other fish in the sea, don't have an emotional break down.

I'm a little confused. Do you have a crush on your teacher? If so, you may not understand, it would be unethical to take a child to the dance. If youre not talking about the teacher, it's better off that way. Be his friend, and let him see what he's missing out on. Do you really want to be with someone that doesn't really want to be with you? Everyone deserves someone that really wants them, and not just because they are being polite. Give it a while, and don't lose your courage. There will be other boys, Many boys....That's the fun of life.

Oh honey I'm so sorry. I know what that feels like. What I would do is draw yourself a nice hot bubble bath, grab some ben and jerry's ice cream, and light some candles. It's very relaxing and it helps. Also, it's not bad that you started crying. I think that that is actually the best thing to do at the point and time because your body naturally cried when its sad. It's built in. Haha. Well I'm so sorry about that. I hope that you are happier! Trust me if he made you cry, he's not worth it. Well I hope all goes well.

Sweetie, we call go through this at some point in our lives. My daughter who is 11 just came home from a dance a couple weeks ago where she asked a boy to dance with her & he said "no". She came home upset & I explained to her that maybe the boy is gay or he could not be allowed to date yet. He may also not know how to dance & be embarrass. Or he could like someone else.
Things seem sad right now but in time you'll meet someone else that you will like & it'll happen. Cheer up.

happened to me 3 weeks ago :[ it took me awhile but u have to slowly stop thinking about him as much...get a bowl of icecream ,snuggle under the covers, wtach a sad movie, and cry until u cant cry anymore...its very depressing at the time, but helps afterwards. and get rid of the sad attitude and start being mad instead...not exactly angry at him, but more of a "oh well too bad for u ur missing out on a great girl" attitude.....it also helps. sometimes it depends on the person whether it helps or not to stay friends with the guy, or distance youself form him as much as possible...either way, it may take little while, but he's obviously not worth your tears, so dont worry, u will get over him eventually, maybe not very quickly, but try to stop thinking about him and it will help. good luck and sorry!!!

Awww, I'm really sorry! I had to choke down a few tears too with my last 2 breakups. I think you need some space for yourself, and if he doesn't like you, you know you can't force him to. So maybe just expect love when you least expect it. At 1st, I refused to do that, I wanted a guy right when I saw him. Then, I found out, that when I wasn't looking 4 guys, they were coming 2 me.

Well it is just a guy don't let him get you down. Friends are the most important. You can also find another that will be good for you. If you really think that this guy is the only one then you should talk more to him and flirt to him a little more!!Hope this helps

Girl your probaly going to hear this a thousand times, but you have to get over that. Thats little stuff, im sure your heart is going to get broken. And its going to take you quite a long time to get over it trust me. Especially i guess if you really truely liked him.
Basically you HAVE TO move on. Go on to someone that you have in common with you never kno, u could even have a secret crusher. Try new things, don't dwell on the past.

forget about him. just remember that nothing is worth a girls tears. you will find someone better in your life. it doesnt end with him. it is hard getting rejected. but dont pay attention to him and do other things. like concentrate on school or just hang out with friends. when you think about it you could of used all that time crying to do something useful instead. i wish you a happy life. byes

be thankful that he even likes you as a friend. if he is willing to go to the dance with you then you should be happy that you get to go to the dance with the guy you like, and then mayb you could build a relationship with him so that mayb he may like you too. give it some time.
