i have this ex-bf who i went out for about 6 months about 2 yrs ago.
we broke up because he had to move away for his job and we both couldn't handle the stress of long distance relationship.
while we were in the relationship, we both thought we may be meant for each other but now, we think that we're like best boy firend/best girl friend type for each other.
so, ever since we broke up, we kept in touch once in a while and i think he still has some feelings for me because he sounds like he doesn't have much encounter with girls.
anyways, early this month, i met this gorgeous guy in hawaii and he invited me to come see him again to his country.
he even got me plane ticket so i've decided to go.
then, a day before my departure day, my ex-bf suddenly gave me a call saying he still can't forget about me! we kinda been lost in touch for 3 months but i was so freaked that he called me in such a timing.

is this like one of those men's version of women's intuition thing?

This might be a case of serendipity. And then again it might not.

In any case, men DO have instances of intuition just like women - it all depends on how emotionally sensitive they are to begin with.

From what you write I suggest you tell your friend that if he is a good friend (since you say you've been in touch only occasionally) he should let you have your space for a while and you should let him have his space for a while - you go to Hawaii or whatever (be sure the guy's safe and not crazy!) and have a great time. If your ex-boyfriend really truly loves you, he'll be waiting there when you come back.

The way you describe this gorgeous guy you'll be having a sex fling and not much more. Again - take care physically and emotionally. remember your true friend/true lover may well be waiting at home for you while you sow your wild oats.

Have fun but take care!

well it could be divine intervention, but guys do NOT have intuition like we women do! our minds work totally different, which is why guys and girls have a hard time understanding each other at times. but anyways, i don't think it was an intuition thing. he may just feel that you guys should maybe try to work it out again...his timing was just coincidental. but if you~you~ are having intuition about you guys' relationship and feel you should try again, then go for it! it seems you guys already have the chemistry, and if you're such best friends, i don't see how you couldn't work it out....but good luck to both of you!

wow...that was quite the book....yea...
ok well first Hawaii isn't a country, it's a state.

but yea...to tell you the truth there's no such thing as intuition. period. you're talking about something that has about as much grounding as the daily horiscope in a daily paper. of course you're going to hate what i'm now telling you, because it ges against what you want to believe. that's understandable. but just to let you in on a little secret... there's a reason why you believe in such foolishness. it's called consiouse memory. let me explain. you believe that there's such a thing as intuition. because you beleve in it so fervently you are willing to "site" it when ever it appears. and yet dismiss it when it does not appear. lets use the boy friend calling you example. he calls, you think it's intuition, and that idea sticks in your mind. had he not called, you would have thought nothing of intuition not working.
i'm sure by now you've stopped reading...but yea

I think anyone can have intuition, no matter what gender. And maybe this really did happen...

So, you're having a relationship with a guy who lives so far away that you're having to take a plane to get to him? Why did you break up with the first guy because of a long distance thing?

While I do think that both sexes can tap in to their intution, this sounds like a case of coincidental timing to me. But I don't know . . . what's Your intution telling you?

Maybe. But probably not. More likely coincidence.

you should be ashamed of yourself for for liking someone even though you have a boyfriend who care for you.
