Do I wear my wedding ring and engagement ring on the same finger? Or my engagement ring on my right hand and wedding band on my left?

You put your wedding ring on the ring finger of your left hand (the ring finger is the one next to the baby finger), then you put the engagement ring on the same hand, the same finger. You wear the wedding ring on the inside because it's supposed to be closest to your heart. Hope this helps.

I think you should be proud to honor your mother's wishes. There is no rule against using a deceased parent's wedding ring, I have even heard of living mothers giving up their engagement ring (not wedding ring of course) for their son's use when "popping the question". Of course you should talk with your fiance` about any "dreams" he might have on the matter of wedding rings but ultimately it is what feels right in YOUR heart. Your mom wanted you to have this option and unless you really don't want to use the ring then why not?!?

They both go on the left hand, ring finger, wedding band first then engagement ring.

If you are talking about during the wedding, I planning on wearing my engagement ring on my right hand during the ceremony. That way my wedding band can be placed directly on my left ring finger. After the ceremony I will move my engagement ring over to my left hand.

Hope that helps!

While engaged, you wear the engagement ring on your left ring finger. On your wedding day, you wear your engagement ring on your right ring finger so that the wedding band may be placed on your left ring finger during the ceremony. After the ceremony, you move the engagement ring from your right hand to your left hand and wear both rings on the left hand. The wedding band always goes on first so that it is alwasy closest to your heart. The engagement ring goes last as some women opt to wear the band only.

You are not suppose to wear youre engagement ring on the left hand before the cememoney. I put my ring on my right hand, and than after the ceremony was over i put the wedding band and the engagement ring on the left hand. It should go band then diamond

To wear them on the same finger, your wedding ring goes on first, with your engagement ring overtop. I wear my wedding band alone sometimes, or sometimes both with my anniversary ring on the bottom (because it's a chevron).

You wear your rings on your left hand, ring finger. the wedding ring goes closest to the knuckle, and your engagement ring after it. It's meant in that order, because wedding rings are supposed to mean forever, and the engagement ring is the start of your marriage. If you don't feel like wearing the engagement ring on your left hand, it should be stored in a jewelry box. It's safest, because if you're right handed, wearing the ring on your right hand will be easier to lose the stone.

Which ever you want. my sister got married over 20 years ago, and her diamond wasnt really big and I have noticed she got a band to wean next to her wedding ring, if they both fit, doesnt matter. if you want to wear them seperate, the wedding ring goes on the left hand.
