I don't think so any more!
I had never heard about this South Carolina thing. That would be so nice to live in an all Christian community. I spent the day at work with all sorts of lovely backstabbing mean people and then on my drive home was flipped off by a lovely woman because I merged (every other car type thing but she did not want to take her turn and wait) into the lane. I would love to live around kind, thoughtful people.

by definition, if a country's Christian, it's conservative

The US is one of the most conservative (politicall and socially).
The only other countries as conservative in their social mores and religion are in Latin America (predominately Catholic)and certain sub-Saharan African countries (Protestant/Catholic mix).
Makes you think, dosen't it?

And I believe it was South Carolina, not North Carolina, that some fundies wanted to take over and then withdraw from the U.S. as its own nation. [sarcasm]Nice of them to ask the other people of South Carolina first! [/sarcasm]
