Fish contain significant amounts of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids which lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. The benefits of one to two meals per week consisting of a 6-ounce piece of fish for men and non-pregnant women far outweigh any risks. Commonly eaten fish such as wild salmon, canned tuna, mackerel, mahi-mahi, oysters, clams, crab, farmed bass, scallops, sardines, and tilapia are safer

Very good for you but tilapia lacks in flavor. I like to add some cajun seasoning to it and broil in the oven.

Its the prep more than the type of flesh that makes it unhealthy - and even breaded deep fried stuff is ok once in a while - the key is moderation!
try steaming the tilapia in a touch of white wine

Most tilapia are healthy until they are caught to be eaten. Then, they are dead.

Yes, healthy if grilled or baked. Deep frying adds fat. This is a good fish, it is mild in taste and is good with Cajun seasonings.

Yes, but it does not contain omega 3. It is a low fat freshwater fish and does have low calories and some "good" cholesterol.
