like people who believe in reincarnation believe that you meet the same person in every life, but in a different form....or that god creates one person for another person....

I sure do believe in soul mates. I found mine and we've been married for 11 years. We don't have to speak a word to know what the other is feeling or thinking. Without him I would have a hollow place in my heart.

Well... I do not believe there is only one person out there for everyone. So in that sense no.
I do however believe in reincarnation and I believe that you can run into someone (so to speak) that you knew before in a past life in this present one.

Yes. GF of 5 yrs back when I was a teenager and early 20's I still think of, feel for, etc. We still talk and keep in touch even though she is married w/ a kid. No matter how bad or how good life has gotten for either of us, we still talk, click. And still to this day I am single, no other has matched up to her.

I found the book Twin Flames and Soulmates byE.C Prophet very interesting.
It differentiates the two and gives some examples in real life.
