Maybe your mentally ill. Maybe you just want attention. Quit poking people and you wont have to suffer the embarrassment.

You sound like you have low self-confidence and poor self-esteem. Think about it this way. There are so many people in this world and everyone is different. Is one better than the other? Who says so? And what makes that person right? Do you see where I'm going with this? You are the one that is judging yourself. Why are you doing this? Are you playing back a tape that was made by someone else when you were growing up? It's time to shred that tape and record a new one. "So what if I bumped someone, it was an accident. And who is going to care in 3 seconds from now while I am still agonizing about it?"

People who are naturally shy are often introverted.. (divert their attention inward and base it on feelings). People often talk about introversion as a problem, but both sides have their pros and cons. Introverted people are highly sensitive to criticism, but yet they are great at solving problems between people because they like to listen and are often peace seekers. You can be a confident introvert by realizing that others do not think about you. picture this person right now that you poked.. do you think they are thinking about you? do you think they really cared taht this happened during their day? its not like no one has ever poked anyone before! just remember, we are all humans, every single one of us.. and if you worry about little things that every human does, then the worry is wasted and your day seems to go by dreadfully and your body physically suffers from this. your body reacts physically to the type of messages you feed it. feed it positive things, and it will treat you positively. you wiill feel good about yoruself and life.

We are all like that, but it could also be some kind of anxiety disorder. But maybe you should focus more on the bigger picture and not let little things bother you. Little things bother me everyday, but I say to myself 5 seconds from now it won't matter, 1 minute from now it won't and when I'm dead it won't. So it only matters the second it happens because you were embarrassed and I guarantee the person is not thinking about like you are.

Because you stress to much and you have a tendancy to over worry. You need to talk with your doctor and let him know. The advice of "just forget about it" does not work for people like us,

Just be yourself and stop worrying about what others are thinking about you. Why are you poking people anyway?

Sounds like OCD (Obsession Compulse Disorder). I would go and see a doctor. The thinking about it all day is a obsession.

Yeah that sucks. Just realize it is madness and you can't do anything about what is done and go on and think about what you want to do next.
