Is there some type of disease that makes u bleed lots of blood from your mouth. if not then can u tell me what does

i was watching this show where this man was literally bleeding pints of blood form his mouth. although he didnt die his symptoms sounded similar to my freiends and i was wondering what can be a possibility

There are several "diseases" that would cause this .If you are bleeding enough to soak a "Kleenex" etc and do that several times a day,you need to see your MD ASAP. Most people misjudge blood loss,and usually it's not as bad as you think.There is nothing that could help this,except to see the Doctor. Take care. SW RNP

Don't know how to answer without further info. You could have bleeding gums, bleeding tonsils, something wrong with your esophagus. I would suggest you go to a doctor to be safe.

there are some peole who lack the abillity to clot so if they get a paper cut or a sore in the mouth, they can literally bleed to death if it a large cut.

periodontal disease...gum disease.... gingivitis....

all the above can cause mouth to bleed and destroy surrounding tissues which support the teeth...

tuberculosis is my second guess
