When you renew your vows do you surpose to do the some thing new, old, borrewed, and blue like you do when you first get married? Just wondering cause me and my husband are renewing our vows july 19, 2007

There isn't anything set concerning this. Since it's not something that's required to be done. It can be whatever you want. The most important thing is that you renew your love for each other and the vows you took. Congratulations on staying married.

No, a renewal of vows is not another wedding! It would just be a simple ceremony, usually followed by a dinner at your home for family and close friends. Are you married 25 years already? Congrats!

There are no hard & fast rules concerning this.
Couples renew their vows for a variety of reasons.
Just know that it is as solemn & holy an occasion as any wedding.
