hey i need help with lime wire and i downloaded it[the basic free one] and wenever i clikk it it doesnt work it show the hourglass sign thing and it goes away in like 2 seconds and it never opens??? AND i have windows vista home basic,do u think that is whyy???
help please

Limewire is not yet compatible with windows vista. Windows vista still needs about a year of bug fixes. Try it on another operating system like windows xp it should work fine on it.

Limewire and Frostwire don't work on Vista. Even if you can get it installed, it will never connect to the network, no matter what you try (and I tried everything in the book). I can't speak for Vista Basic (sersiously...?) as I am using Home Premium where I was able to install it but as I said, never connected to the network.
iMesh works, I do know that. It's not that I trust iMesh but it's running under Vista, I'll deal until Limewire or Frostwire get their act together.

Do not use Limewire... it is a doorway to viruses. Switch to uTorrent ... it is great. You can download entire albums.
