If You're a female, is it OK to take a bubble bath? Is this your question?
If so, why not. The room service clean these rooms every day, sometimes twice a day and they use cleansers that will kill any bacteria. You are safer bathing in a 4 star hotel than you are at home, bacteria wise.

Nothing is 100% safe these days.
Look on the news..., the only thing certain is that life is uncertain.
What you have to decide is, do I want to take the risk? You would be clean, but it does always carry some degree of risk...
If your asking could you get germs, why yes indeed. Bathrooms are cool, damp places, perfect for germ breeding grounds. Many people use them every day.
There is not such a thing as 100% germ assassination, other than total obliteration of all life in a nuke.
But what would the point of that be?

You should really bring or ask to use a disinfectant to clean the bath tub before using it, not only on 4 star hotels, but in all hotels.

In theory it is supposed to be. Bacterias don't live much on a cleaned and disinfected environment. So if the tub is "properly" cleaned, it's probably bug free.
But if it bothers you, buy some household disinfectant and do some cleaning yourself, and pour some on the drain to kill hidden bugs, at least for the first day, usefully if Paris Hilton was the last one using that tub.

I see nothing wrong with taking a bubble bath in any hotel room....as long as it looks clean.....they scrub them out after each guest....or they're supposed to......I've asked them at the front desk to send a maid in to clean the bathtub if it looks nasty.....and then again, sometimes I've run out to the store to get stuff to clean it with if I can't get the maid in there.......have fun!! You planning an elaborate seduction?

Like the person said above. Should be OK unless the tub is nasty-looking, then go get a maid!
