When you go on a date with a girl would it hurt your pride if the girl wanted to pay? And if a girl does want to pay what is that best way to tell that guy?

My girl pays quite often. We take turns paying and it works out great.

Some guys may feel it's not "manly" enough to let a girl pay, but overall I don't think too many guys will protest too much as long as they get to pay the first time or the first couple of times. Once you're "seeing each other" then switching off should be completely fine.

Tips on how to pay? Hm, hard to say. Kind of depends on the guy. You could just ask him if he would let you pay. You could grab the check (if it's dinner) and smile coyly at him. You could be aggressive at the movie ticket counter and have your money ready.

If he seems upset or bothered by it, be sweet and playful to get him to smile, and then ask him if it bothers him that you just paid.

I am girl, but i will answer this anyway. When my b/f and i first started going out, he wanted to pay for me all the time, but i refused to accept his proposal of the idea. After a few attempts of him trying to get his way, we finally agreed to pay every other time and it works just fine. One day he pay for the whole day no matter what we do and no matter how much it is, and the next time I pay disregarding the $$ amount. It works if you want it to.

Heck no it doesn't bother me, but i would expect that if I asked you out on a date, I would be picking up the tab, Unless of course you made a point of insisting at the time I asked you out. if you want to pay, then you ask me out. Simple!

Only if she's expecting something in return.....wait, that'd be even better. So, the answer is no.
