This question was posted a short time ago, and after reading over a 90% no factory I was shocked on the basic knowledge that many have of the human body.

If you remove a rib, it will regenerate itself. This is the ONLY item in the human body that will do this act, and do this act at any age. Reconstructive surgeons use the rib for it will return. If you have had such surgery, have a scar on your right side now?

Here is a dentist article that is plainly speaking of this very regeneration. Its clear the medical field is fully aware of it, why are the rest not so aware of the truth?

page 26 of 32, center colum, below the picture, paragraph title " What does your oral surgery research entail?"

quote: " ...because not many people are doing it. No one else has studied rib regeneration to see if we can influence other parts of the body to regenerate like the rib, where the bone actually grows back. "

I give this info so you can be that much more informed as a human being. Don't always believe what is told to you or what seems to be logical, for truth is never pretty nor logical.

This is not to prove either side....nothing more than information, as with information we each can make a more education decision. Not trying to lean you either way.

I myself fully belive in YAHWEH (GOD).

DrP:

Thank you for pointing out the liver. I was not aware of that. And I understand the rib part, what to take out, etc...but was trying to stick with laymen, common terms. fancy words tend to mess things up at times.

I know about the liver repairing itself, but never heard about the rib. I am still not clear about what you are trying to say -- are you in any way doubting that God took a rib from man to for a woman? If so what about what he took to form man, ....dust? That sounds more dubious than taking a rib. However, I do not believe God with my senses, I believe Him by FAITH and with God all things ARE POSSIBLE!

there is more to your story. If you remove the rib, it will not regenerate itself. You must remove the bone and leave the covering, the periosteum. If you simply remove the whole thing, without carefully separating the two, regeneration does not occur. The liver can regenerate, I wonder why he did not use the liver?

My uncle had two of his ribs removed in a TB operation to collapse one of his lungs back in 1952. He lived until 1995 with two ribs missing. He never did grow any new ribs for 45 years. You are full of crap.

Actually, if you look in Genesis One it tells a different Adam and Eve story. Most people do know that males and females have the same number of ribs.

Wow. Didn't know that....IT would be weird if they could regenerate skulls. But you cant make any living thing from a rib.

This isn't a question, it's a sermon. Tho I'm a Christian, I will pose you the question someone else will pose (and same them the trouble.) "Don't always believe what is told to you" . . . so why should one believe you?

Ya see? You need that salt from the Holy Spirit, not the sledgehammer.

That's fascinating and I'll admit I've never heard of ribs growing back. Now, please tell us how you grow a woman from a man's rib?

So are you saying that Eve wasn't created from Adam's rib? Have you read the Bible? It contradicts your "evidence". I'm siding with the Bible.
