im naturally pessimistic, and ive learned that with pessimism, youre never dissapointed. it doesnt effect what happens, and you will either feel correct, or delighted that you were wrong.

think of it this way, would you rather wake up thinking it friday, but as it turns out, its thursday

or

wake up thinking its thursday, and its actually friday?

and you wake thinking its thursday, and it is thursday, what have you lost?

No. There's never ANYTHING that's beneficial. Everything always turns out wrong. Nothing ever happens for the good. Yada yada yada (for the pessimist). "Always look on the DARK side of life."

I prefer the light.

Yaks(pbut).

pessimism is good, especially, on this site. i truly believe that the glass is half empty when it comes to some of the bullshit I have encountered here. its all in fun and try a daily planner to help you sort out "the what day is it" thing.

No, its not. Its better to realistic! not pessimistic or optimistic, that way you dont view life badly or sadly, but you dont get dissapointed.
