Kind of depends on who you believe God is. And based on the fact that you're asking this question, I'm guessing you're not at a point in your life where you've got clarity on that yet. So first off remember that the world is full of religions that can't agree on what God likes or wants... and even the major ones like Christianity and Islam can't come to a consensus on what he (or she) expects from us. Then consider your options... You could pick a religion or a denomination (for example, Catholic or Lutheran) and let them tell you what God wants. Of course they don't agree with each other and you could end up picking the wrong one. And then are you going to rely on them to tell you how to act in every situation for the rest of your life?
My suggestion is simple... Ask yourself whether you believe in a God that's compassionate, knows that humans are inherently flawed, and is able to recognize your efforts to do the right thing (successfully or not) throughout your entire life? If so, I think you'll find it's not that complicated. If something has a positive impact on those around you, stands up to what you would describe as "good" if someone were to ask you, and is something you wouldn't mind being shared with your family, closest friends and the world at large, you're probably going to be okay. You'll make mistakes, but when it all adds up you'll come out the end having learned from them and made a lasting, positive contribution to those around you.
And don't you think that's what an all knowing, all powerful, all good God would be most concerned about?
He's got a few bigger priorities than whether you end up dancing at a club....

I'm not religious but by using simple logic you can solve your dilema. In your reading you will find that Jesus forgave a lot of people. Have you heard the phrase those who are free of sin throw the first stone? That was Jesus defending a woman who was about to be stoned. I think she was a prostitute or something of that sort. Not completely sure thats why I tell you to look it up yourself. Anyways, he helped and save a bunch of people from all walks of life. Most of them very undesirable. What I'm getting at is that dancing is the least of your problems compare to the type of people Jesus save.
If this doesn't work then why not switch to catholisism. You can do pretty much whatever you want as long as you repent the next day. Also, they have great artwork.

Yessssss....yesssss and again yesssss. God promised not only to forgive you for what you have done but to actually "forget" that you did them. That is why it says that when a person comes to God through Christ, they are born again. (Don't let the term born again make you think of any particular religious group. I'm not talking about that) The simple truth of the matter is that your desire to be accepted by God is all that is needed for your sins to be forgiven. Once you ask him to come in to your heart, you are forever His. Then, you will need to seek his word and his guidance to help you live the kind of life he wants for you. Don't get caught up in a specific religion to find out what you can or can not do. Those rules are made at least in part by people, not by God. Seek him. Seek his word in the Bible. He will help you to know.

One of the reason that Jesus called Saul of Tarsus to be an apostle was that he was a very bad man: intolerant, arrogant, and guilty of murder. He changed his name to "Little" (Paul) because he realized that Jesus' grace was woefully undeserved. Yet, God forgave him because he accepted what Jesus did for him on the cross at Calvary.
It is the same with you. To claim you sinned more than can be forgiven is to actually claim that you're stronger than God. You're not. So, will God accept you? Only if you accept God AS HE IS and not as you would like Him to be. As He is, is so much stronger than you that your relationship with Him will be one "Wow" after another. But God never forces Himself on a person. You must ask Him to forgive you and fill you with His Holy Spirit. This is the one prayer He is always quick to answer.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

If you're sincere, God will forgive your past, present and future. The question is, are you prepared to follow at the cost? The cost is being willing to allow God to be Lord of your life, which means you may have to give things up and begin embracing things you never have before. There is nothing you can do to please God. Giving up clubbin' doesn't please God. The only thing you can do is submit to Him. To trust in the sacrifice of Jesus to cover you and your sins, and to follow Him. It is His grace that will save you, not what you have or haven't done. May God bless you. I hope this was sincere.

Well, King David danced in the streets, and he was in pretty tight with the Lord most of the time, so I wouldn't worry about dancing. You say you did really bad things? So did the guys who hung Jesus on the cross, but He forgave them. He'll forgive you too. Just talk to Him about it. And quit listening to those igits who are trying to tell you otherwise.

God loves you, and He will accept you no matter what you might have done in the past. He never refuses anyone who comes to Him in love. Going clubbing is not wrong, and neither is dancing. Enjoy them to your heart's content, as long as they don't lead you to do wicked things. Find a good church that welcomes you and start to learn about what a wonderful God He is!

Yes God will accept you, He loves you. But will you accept Him? Pray and ask God for forgiveness and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Dancing is not a sin
