There are many approches to help students study.

1. is to let him/her play first and get out all his/her restlessnesses and then set him/her in a comfortable spot with proper lighting and remove all distractions including a radio, comp., tv, and even a book

2. is to be strict and repeat all the acts in step 1

the approch i belive is good is to combine steps 1 & 2 .. especally dont be that strict

Encouragment and discipline. Having all things that are a distraction to their studying taken away such as noise and many other things.
