My son has wide feet and I am having trouble finding shoes for him. Of course, because he's 3-1/2 years old, he'd love some tennis shoes with a character on them like Batman, Robin, Spiderman, etc.
The only wide shoes I can find for kids look like shoes for the elderly.
Any suggestions where to look? Thanks!

We use Stride Rite for our grandson---extra wide shoes are hard to find anywhere else.
Look on Ebay--kids that age usually outgrow their shoes before they wear them out- we have found several pairs at less than half the purchase price that looked like new.

Good luck!

Don't you worry any- my son is only 22 months old and wears an 8 1/2! Eek! I just know someday he'll have to have special order shoes- LOL. My son has always had big feet, and sounds like he's right about the size of your 3 year old. 31 lbs. & almost 38 inches tall. Siiiigh.... In fact, LOL, when I had my son at the hospital the nurses would all come in to see his big feet- hahahaha! He started out in like a size 2.

My son also has wide feet, I couldnt find any shoes that would fit him so I had to have some made for him it costs more but they last a long time too. You can make them any kind of shoe that you want.

Stride Rite is where I got my sons shoes from. I could never get shoes that fit him until I got some from there. If you dont have a store where you live, then you can check out this site.

Well, for a sacrifice of the batman kind of logos, he can get Vans Shoes for toddlers. Vans shoes for toddlers are wider than competitors, but, unfortunately, no logos.

You can try to go to Kohl's if there is one, and see if they offer wide sheos.

StrideRite sells shoes in wide. Skechers tend to run wide (but also short).
