RE:
How do you write a paragraph in standard English about the Advantages of Developing Good Language Skills?

You need a beginning, middle and end to your statements.
More precisely you need to deny the way people are thinking (wrongly) about the subject now, and then you need to supply the right definition; after that, you can draw inferences, examples, results and describe benefits based on the right definition and practices relative to language being used.

Nothing else will work.
Standard English is not much good, in truth; it does not for example require you to avoid figurative misuses of words in non-fictional statements, so it isn't really language; and by being descriptive--being based on the misuses of language people are making all around us--it isn't even standard.

All that's meant by the term "Standard English" that is useful therefore is that you need to try not to allow nonexistent abstractions to be used in your setnences as doers of 'actions". Sentences can't have meanings, phrases can't signify etc. Users of language can try to signify, and the words they arrange in prioritized order can be used to express meaning.

As to your "topic" in the paragraph, the "advantage" one can obtain by developing meaningful statementsor "complete enough reality-picturing grammatically architected language statements" is the only skill that matters in this context.

So if I were writing the paragraph you want, I'd say what I just said in four or five sentences, in the opposite order. Good luck.
