Can a machine be made that could harness the energy of dark matter surrounding everything? If so, has it been done in the past and merely covered up to keep the economy running properly?

Dark...Like evil? Never heard of anything like that...but if it did suck up evil matter, the world wouldn't be worth living in cause everything would be boring as heaven.

We know extremely little about dark matter, not even what type particles it's made of. All we are certain of is that something is showing effects of gravity and we attribute that to something we call dark matter. How can we even consider using or converting it into a usable energy source.

Dark matter is still just a scientific theory. It hasn't been proven that dark matter even exists.
