I heard you quit combing, go swimming in the ocean every day, and let Jah fix your hair the way He intended you to look when He created you. Sounds good in theory but didn't work so well in practice, at least not for me with my slick Caucasian / Native American hair. Interesting links there. Maybe I'll try again. Then I'll be a Natty Nerd!

Dreads on white people can look awesome if you do them right, don't listen to the others. I believe you use a wax of some sorts, but I also think hair salons or even special hair extension salons could do it.

THats such a scuzzy look, I've seen alot of white people with dreads, its terrible, but it can be done, with hair products-bees wax to keep its shape, or some kind of something and not combing the hair at all, until your left with a big cluster f*ck on top of your head

Some salons can help. There is also special waxes for dreading, however any thick hair wax will do the job. Lost of twisting, knotting, back combing and patience.
Oh yeah, hair extensions work real good too.
(pre dreaded & otherwise)

Im White have dreadlocks and they are not nasty at all, and i wash them like normal! Its a misconception...
