i eat 400 calories a day (but I spread them out throughout the day, eg. 1 grapefruit, half a sandwich, fruit, vegetables, tuna etc.) , drink lots of water (and tea) do 300 leg raises, 200 situps, usually burn about 50 calories on a treadmill. How much weight can I lose in a week? 2 weeks?
Also, how can I keep my metabolism up so I don't go into starvation mode?
Thank you so much!

It doesn't matter how much weight you lose, a calorie intake that low is not gonna help you. As soon as you go back to eating normal, the pounds will pack back on. Or if you continue such a restricted diet, all sorts of fun things like hair loss and organ failure will happen.
My advice is to stick with the exercise, but don't dip below 1200 calories a day.
The problem with society is that there is too much emphasis on weight loss and not enough on being HEALTHY.

400 calories is really not enough. do you manage to get proper nutrition? You don't give your age/sex/ size, but basal metabolism burns somewhat over 2000 calories/day. 4000 calories is a pound of fat, but there is water, and other stuff, so if indeed you are only consuming 400 calories/day you are probably loosing 3-4 pounds/week. that is too fast to maintain, and maintain health. You can do it for a short time with a juice fast- consuming only raw organic fruit and vegetable juices.

You need to eat. All throughout the day. You just need to watch what you eat and eat the right portions. Otherwise, your body will shut down and may not give you any warning. Consult with your doctor or talk to a fitness counselor (usually they are free to talk to at a gym or any workout place) to see what plan is good for you. Try to lose at least 1-2 pounds a week. That is normal. Working out is awesome just don't over-do it.

When you don't feed your body enough, it tends to keep all the fat because it knows that it's not getting enough, and it tends to burn muscle instead. So this is a very bad way to lose weight. Eat a healthy diet, exercise, and even if it takes you 2 months, you'll lose weight. Plus, you'll be in shape and won't have sagging skin. And with what you're doing now, you're going to put the weight back on as soon as you go back to a more normal diet.

Even the fattest of people are put on a 600 calorie diet with supplements. So, eat a little more. And definitely you will need to do more cardio than 50 calories..

You'll lose a good bit; probably about 1 pound every three days. However, you'll just gain it back when you go back to eating normally, so its not really worth it unless you just need to lose weight for a specific thing. Plus, I heard it messes up your metabolism or something, so it ends up slowing down, which in turn makes you lose less weight. :]
