I'm a girl and I want to know how to do cute messy buns and other cute hairstyles just for school because I always wear my hair in no special or different way. I have dark brown shoulder length hair and side bangs. Links from sites will work and I don't know if I should get a haircut to get too. Thanks in advance!

I also have really thick hair...really really thick and it's kind of curly underneath, but it's straight on top, so I kind of have little waves sticking through my hair which makes it look messy.

Here are some ideas:
Bob- This hair do is shorter but easy to style. Straighten your hair to make your hair look sleek and trendy.
Messy bun- Pull your hair into a low ponytail. Twist around once, twice, and on the third twist, only pull your hair halfway through.
Loose waves- Wave your hair with a curling iron by sliding the curling iron so it is 1/2 an inch above the ends of your hair. Curl vertically, then un-twirl and spray with hairspray. Brush through your hair with your fingers.
Razored hair- See if a hairstylist can razor the ends of your hair. Straighten your hair to get a sleek, trendy look that is easy to do.
Side ponytail- Brush through your hair so it is shiny and free of frizz. Pull all of your hair to the side of your head and make a side ponytail. You can leave your ponytail straight, but you could also curl it too!
Layers- Ask a stylist if they can "layer" your hair for you. When you straighten your hair, it will be much more exciting to look at your layers rather than straight hair just hanging, with no excitement.

I am a school girl to but I never want to be like everyone else with my styles.I always go for unnormal stuff people will notice like crimpping my hair or poffy bangs back in a pony tail.It is ok to stand out.I usually don't have time but I try and do cute stuff to my hair like pull it back in a pony tail then get a scrunchie and just mess with my hair and flip around the place and it makes a cute pony-tail-messy-bun look.Also another cute look is the night before after I get a shower, pulling it into a or curlers and in the morning taking them out for a curlly look and a wavy look.Then I pull it into a cony tail and it looks so cute with curlled bangs.Another cute style is bradding it then taking the brade and roll it into a bun on top of my head and make a cut cinnamon bun roll on my head.Hope I helped!

Ok well like a waterfall hair-do is like this: gather your hair at the back sort of bottom of your head then twist it once or twice and stick one of those medium sized clips and put it in(up and down of course). It works on my shoulder lenght hair and sort of looks like a waterfall, like different layers and like falling over the sides of the clip.If u want u can leave your bangs out, either way its cute (if u do it right) I bet u know how to do this already but just saying.

here r my ideas...
-try french braiding ur hair after gettin a shower, then wait t'ill its dry...u can do tis b4 u go to sleep at night...in the mornin, u can run ur finger through them jus to get them loose...DONT brush them wit a comb/brush or ur hair wud become poffy...then hairspray all over very lightly, not to much, then add a cute headband to acessorize...
-u cud try braiding random sections of hair all around ur hair...lik about three to five...then grab all of ur hair nd put it to a messy bun...
-or...u can try tis simple hair style that i mostly do wen i jus want a classy cute do...u can tie all of ur hair into a high or low ponytail wit an elastic rubberband, then take a small section of hair that was bein tied nd rap i around the rubberband until u get to the end nd secure it wit a bobby pin...to add an extra special classy look, u can try curlin the ends of ur hair wit a curlin iron...
